Behaviour management

Frenchville State School is committed to providing a safe, respectful and disciplined learning environment for students and staff, where students have opportunities to engage in quality learning experiences and acquire values supportive of their lifelong wellbeing.

Our school has an established vision 'Together We Shape Tomorrow' and the school-wide pedagogical principles to guide all school policies:
  • valuing self and others
  • being active local and global citizens
  • being responsible risk-takers
  • being effective communicators
  • engaging in challenging thinking

Our vision is underpinned by the school’s core values:
pride, honesty, persistence

These principles and core values are embedded in our Responsible behaviour plan for students (PDF, 2223 KB).  It is expected that all members of our school community will consistently display our values and principles in all actions.

The plan is designed to facilitate high standards of behaviour so that the learning and teaching in our school can be effective and students can participate positively within our school community.
